現在１８名の部員が在籍しています。ESS は English Speaking Society の略で英語を話す会という意味ですが、実際の活動は言葉と文化を中心にして幅広い活動をやっています。
活動は、毎週月曜日と木曜日の放課後に２時間程度行っています。学校の内外で日本固有の文化や世界の多様な文化を楽しく学びながら、＜読む、書く、聞く、話す＞の４技能を磨いています。ESS部の標語は　Care for Myself, Others, Nature ( 自分をいつくしみ、他者をいつくしみ、自然をいつくしむ ) です。ミッションは　Broaden your horizons, improve your English, make friends ! ( 視野を広げ、英語を磨き、楽しい仲間作りを ! )です。
この２つをクラブ活動の前提に幅広い活動をしています。日帰りフィールド・トリップや社会見学のプログラムに参加したりもしています。
ESS部は非常に楽しくて入りやすいクラブで、夢を抱く生徒と
新しい自分を見つける生徒は多いですので是非いつでも体験入部して
みてください。

There are 18 members in our club at the moment.ESS stands for English Speaking Society but our club means and does much more than that.
Our club meets after school twice a week for about two hours each. We use English to study about Japan and other cultures. Naturally we try to strengthen all four language skills.
The club motto is Care for Myself,Others,Nature and our mission is to broaden our minds, improve our English language skills and make friends.We try to do this through learning both inside and outside school through a variety of ways.
Our club is a friendly club, and one for students with dreams and a desire to change themselves. Come along anytime and try us !
